ATR 340 Therapeutic Exercise

3 Credits

The techniques which are used in therapy and rehabilitation settings are examined in this course. Program design and the scientific background for exercise are emphasized through a study of such areas as ROM, flexibility training, manual therapy techniques, resistance training prescriptions, plyometrics, PNF, aerobic conditioning, and balance training. The course also provides specific therapeutic protocols for all parts of the human body.

Prerequisite(s): ATR 100 ATR 220 , ATR 289 , ATR 389 , and BIO 205 /BIO 215 .
