NUR 415 Critical Care Nursing

3 Credits

This course focuses on the complex pathophysiology and care of clients who are admitted to critical care units. Nursing diagnoses, goals, and interventions that are necessary to care for these clients are emphasized. Technical skills and procedures that critical care nurses utilize in the monitoring and management of critically ill clients are also covered. The course is designed to build upon the student’s previous clinical experiences and to enhance their knowledge of new and current concepts for optimal client care.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 405  and NUR 430 .
