PHIL 103 Introduction to Philosophy

3 Credits

Key questions in philosophy are explored in this introductory course. Content areas such as metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy, as well as other areas of thought are studied. This course also introduces students to the methods and questions of philosophy and their applicability to such issues as human nature, freedom, religion, and social justice. In the process of such an inquiry, the student’s ability to read, write, and think critically is enhanced.
