BIO 340 Cellular and Molecular Biology Laboratory

1 Credit

This laboratory introduces basic molecular methods: transformation, DNA purification, recombinant DNA techniques, DNA electrophoresis and the polymerase chain reaction.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 108 /BIO 118   and CHEM 211 /CHEM 221  (all with a minimum grade of C). Knowledge of genetics if highly recommended; Concurrent with BIO 330 .
