THEO 330 Theology of Death and Dying3 Credits
Death. It’s a part of life. This class explores how loss, grief, dying, and death relate to one’s understanding of God, and vice versa. Students are introduced to the impact that various approaches (including Franciscan), values, and scholarship (practices and schools of thought) have had on the concepts of life and death and on the field of death studies.
Prerequisite(s): THEO 104 and PHIL 102 and a minimum of 55 credits.
