HIST 105 Western Civilization II: Renaisssance to Eve of World War I

Students explore themes including the European Renaissance, the formation of nation-states, the building of European empires, and 19^th century Europe. This study goes up to 1914, concluding with an examination of the tensions and alliance system that led to the First World War and destruction of the European world order.
