NUR 321 Faith-Based Nursing

3 Credits

This course will expose the nursing student to the concept of faith-based community nursing. The student will discover the connection between faith and health and explore the role of the community nurse in a faith-based community. The student will examine and explore community resources and volunteer at an agency of their choice. The student will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a health-related activity in a faith community.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 205
