SW 250 Human Behavior and the Social Environment

3 Credits

This course will help students begin to answer the question, why do people behave as they do? Students will be introduced to a conceptual framework for understanding traditional and alternative paradigms that explain human development and behavior within the context of the social environment. Theories, perspectives, and practice models will focus on understanding individuals and families.

 

Prerequisite(s): SW 100  SW 210  or permission of instructor
