FIN 301 Principles of Financial Management

3 Credits

This course introduces the fundamental principles of financial management used in business organizations. Students learn how financial managers make decisions regarding investments, financing, working capital, and risk management while maximizing shareholder value. Emphasis is placed on financial analysis including ratio analyses, time value of money, capital budgeting, financial markets, and ethical decision-making.

Prerequisite(s):  ACT 103 , ECON 101 , and BUS 201
