BIO 310 Diseases of Humans and Wildlife3 Credits
This course explores ideas about the environmental and anthropogenic mechanisms that drive emerging infectious diseases. Students will examine the human-wildlife connections within disease life cycles and how this impacts disease burden and spread.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 108 /BIO 118 OR BIO 131 /BIO 136 and BIO 106 /BIO 116 and one of the following: BIO 305 /BIO 315 or BIO 233 /BIO 243 . Students in the Sustainability Minor are permitted to take this course.
