Return to: Nursing
The Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner is designed for master’s prepared nurses, seeking specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). The certificate program builds on previous learning, integrating the knowledge and skills germane to the FNP who will provide holistic, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan, while incorporating the RISES values learning at Neumann. The course of study for the post-master’s students, with 34 credits of the Advanced Practice Core and Clinical Specialty courses, has the same student learning outcomes previously listed for the Master of Science Degree, Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Program, and is offered in an online part-time format.
All current, practicing nurse practitioners will have gap analysis completed by the Program Director of Graduate Nursing to determine the student’s individual plan of study.
