ATR 345 Therapeutic Exercise Laboratory

1 Credit

This laboratory course for ATR 340 , Therapeutic Exercise, focuses on the application of techniques that are used in therapy and rehabilitation. The development of program design for exercise is also emphasized in this course. Topics of study include ROM, flexibility training, manual therapy techniques, resistance training prescriptions, plyometrics, PNF, aerobic conditioning, and balance training. The course also provides specific therapeutic protocols for all parts of the human body.

Prerequisite(s): ATR 100 , ATR 220 , ATR 289 , ATR 389 , and BIO 205 /BIO 215 . Concurrent with ATR 340 .
