ATR 220 Emergency Response: First Aid and CPR

The principles of standard first aid and basic life support as prescribed by the National Safety Council are studied. This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills that are necessary to act as a first responder in an emergency situation until more advanced medical help arrives. The course consists of lectures and labs that mimic actual emergency situations.
