SW 230 Professional Writing for Social Work Practice3 Credits
Students will identify and compose many of the various types of writing social work professionals produce in clinical settings, case management roles, and when advocating for change across levels of intervention. Using the framework of case studies and a fictionalized social work agency, students will explore bias in writing and will learn to construct persuasive, narrative, and evaluative texts.
Prerequisite(s): SW 100 or permission of instructor
