EDU 712 Evaluation, Measurement, Perform Mgmt

Students will grow and sharpen their knowledge and skills of overall assessment with a focus on evaluation, measurement, and performance improvement. Students will become increasingly familiar with empirical research literature related to the most important education programs and initiatives. Students will engage with theory and practice that continuously impresses the importance of valid, reliable, sturdy, and trustworthy evidence-based approaches to assessment that leads to data-driven decision making for organizational effectiveness. By course completion, students will improve their ability to serve school stakeholders and affect positive change through assessment strategies and initiatives for implementation in coordination with Culturally Relevant Sustaining Education (CRSE) competencies and NU RISES values.
