For those students seeking Teacher Certification in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and Special Education combined, the following graduate courses must be taken and successfully completed.

Note:
Students who wish to pursue Early Childhood/Elementary Education (PK-4) and Special Education (PK-8) Teacher Certification must also demonstrate course work in their baccalaureate degree specified to be sufficient by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for entry into this master’s degree program.
Students pursuing the Teacher Certification option are also required to obtain proof of a current FBI Fingerprint Clearance, a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and a Pennsylvania Criminal Background Clearance in order to begin student teaching (EDU 575 ). * EDU 560 can only be taken at the main campus of Neumann University. Prior to registering for both EDU 560 and EDU 575 , the student must have taken and passed all required PRAXIS I and PRAXIS II examinations. |
