ATR 320 Prevention/Assessment of the Upper Extremity3 Credits
In this course, the student acquires a working knowledge of the techniques that are involved in preparing athletes for competition and evaluating athletes with medical conditions. The goals of the class are to provide the student with up-to-date understanding of (1) proper taping, wrapping, bandaging, and bracing techniques and (2) the proper evaluation of the spine and upper extremity. Other topics of study include, but are not limited to, specific conditions which are related to the upper extremity, systematic evaluation protocols, and documentation procedures.
Prerequisite(s): ATR 100 , ATR 210 , ATR 220 , ATR 289 , and BIO 205 /BIO 215 .
