ECE 205 Child Development & Learning Theory3 Credits
This course is designed to investigate the theory and experience of children in the perceptual, motor, cognitive, social, emotional, psychological, and moral domains of development. This course addresses these constructs from the prenatal period to nine years of age. Additionally, this course examines the application of the principles and theories of child development and learning to promote responsive instruction, curriculum, collaboration, and assessment in the classroom.

Prerequisite(s): ECE 101 / EDU 101 and ECE 204
Note: There is a required field component for this course. All students are required to have valid clearances to participate in field experience.
