The School of Business offers unique and very special learning opportunities which aim to meet the student’s professional needs and interests. In keeping with the University’s Franciscan tradition, programs emphasize respect for individuals, academic excellence, social responsibility and career preparation. The faculty and staff show their on-going dedication and commitment to students by providing a first-rate education with personal attention both inside and outside the classroom. We offer the following programs:

• Business Administration
• Computer & Information Management
• International Business
• Marketing
• Sport and Entertainment Management
• Combined Undergraduate and Graduate Sport and Entertainment Management (4+1)
Regardless of the selected major, all students in this program participate in a cooperative education experience (internship). We assist students in finding placement within an organization where they can apply their classroom learning and gain practical experience that will prepare them for their career. Students who graduate from this program go on to acquire challenging positions in private businesses, government, and non-profits organizations. Many of our graduates remain connected to their “roots” at Neumann University and serve as student mentors, guest speakers, and employers of newly graduated students.
Students who successfully complete a Business Program at Neumann University will:
- Integrate moral reasoning, ethics, and the Catholic Social Teachings into managerial decisions
- Participate in activities that improve communities.
- Bring career experience through workplace internship into future employment.
- Use analytical, reflective, and critical reasoning in decision-making.
- Articulate and apply quantitative models, theories, and fundamental principles in accounting, business, computer and information management, marketing, international business, and sports and entertainment management. (This division goal is further delineated in the major outcomes)
- Be proficient in the technology and skills appropriate to their major field of study. (This division goal is further delineated in the major outcomes)
- Have the global awareness necessary to function responsibly in interdependent economies.
- Use appropriate teamwork and leadership to succeed in a diverse environment.
- Communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations.
