ATR 325 Prevention/Assessment of the Upper Extremity Laboratory1 Credit
This laboratory course for ATR 320 , Prevention/Assessment of the Upper Extremity, provides the student with up-to-date practical skills such as communicating with an injured athlete, observing signs of injury, palpating anatomical structures, evaluating normal and abnormal ranges of motion, and performing special tests to help in the diagnosis of injuries to the upper extremity. At the conclusion of this laboratory course, the student is able to perform all assessment techniques for the upper extremity. Other areas of study include spine boarding and helmet and pad fitting.
Prerequisite(s): ATR 100 , ATR 210 , ATR 220 , ATR 289 , and BIO 205 /BIO 215 ; Concurrent with ATR 320 .
