CDM 345 Public Relations and Strategic Communication

3 Credits

This course delivers an introduction to the principles and benefits of strategic communications and to the field of Public Relations. The role of strategic communication in business and society is explored. Strategic communication products including message maps, news releases and other digital marketing materials are examined as students learn audience segmentation and tools of persuasion. Student research will result in a completed PR plan.
