PSYCH 392 Multicultural Psychology3 Credits
This course introduces students to the study of multicultural psychology. We will explore psychological concepts through a lens that considers the varied experiences, and social dynamics present in today’s society. In this course, we will examine societal structures and institutional patterns that influence and help maintain opportunities, challenges, and outcomes, as well as their psychological consequences on both individuals and communities.
Prerequisite(s): PSYCH 101 , PSYCH 280 , Sophomore standing or written approval of instructor.
