BUS 332 The Science of Entrepreneurship

3 Credits

In the introductory course, BUS 132  Introduction to Entrepreneurship, all facets of the entrepreneurial mindset were reviewed.  This course takes a deeper dive into the science of entrepreneurship, tackling such topics as business model design, developing business plan, building a network, and designing your start-up.  Gelb (2004) defines one of the seven da Vincian principles, dimostrazione (defined as demonstration or the art of making clear) as, “A commitment to test knowledge through experience, persistence, and a willingness to learn from mistakes” (p.9).  In this course we look at the science of entrepreneurship and how to design your dream company, how to develop your dream team, and how use failure as a learning tool for future success.
